XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam) is a closed-cell foam insulation widely used beneath metal roofing to reduce heat transfer, minimize condensation, and improve indoor comfort.

Installation Methods

Between the roof purlins and metal sheet (most common).

Directly below the metal sheet using self-drilling screws with insulation washers.

With an air gap between the metal sheet and insulation for improved thermal performance.

Precautions

Avoid compressing or bending the XLPE sheet during installation, as this reduces its insulating performance.
